2010 changes???
As an FYI, I figured I'd post some changes I've noticed between my old 2006 sedan and the 2010 vert. Some may have been mentioned before, some may have not. Also, I don't know if these are specific to the vert, and/or whether it started in 09, but here they are (not including door button changes):
1) When in random mode for CD's, hitting track up actually seeks the tracks randomly. This differs from my 06 (non-nav), which would only go to the next track numerically. So, you'd have to deselect then select random every time to jump tracks randomly without listening to the whole song. But now, when you hit track up mid-song, it randomly selects a track, instead of the next one numerically.
2) The dash cluster colors are slightly different. On the 06, the "halos" in the center of the speedo/tach had a hint of blue in them, and overall the dash cluster seemed to be blue and white. On the 2010, it is black and white.....no blue hue at all. The display indicator is also black and white on the 2010, vs blue and white on the 06.
3) The speedo/tach needles are different. Instead of being narrow and long like on the 06, they are thicker at the base and taper toward the end (similar to ES's)
4) I believe that this was an 09 change, but the shift logic has changed. You can now hit the left paddle to downshift one gear while in drive, and then control as you do in sport mode until you upshift to the gear that it thinks it should be in if in auto mode. Also, if you hold the right paddle, it will jump to 6 from whatever gear. Finally, although it may be mental, the shift times for upshifts seem a little quicker. Again, though, that may be mental and the fact that the car is still learning my driving habits.
5) The clock is green instead of white. But, I had a non-nav in the 06, so that may be the difference there.
6) Obviously the grille bezel has changed, but so has the center insert. On the 06, the L emblem sat on top of the center inserts. On the 2010 (and probably 09), the L emblem is inset in the holder somewhat instead of sitting on top of the holder.
7) The rear L emblem is smaller on the vert than on the sedan.
8) There is no chrome door trim on the vert as there is on the sedan
9) Front door panels do NOT have a retractable map pocket for drinks/etc
10) Vert front bumper has DIFFERENT brake coolers

Good info! I think that #3 is unfortunate--I thought the old style was way better.

Good report.
I can confirm items #2, 3, and 5 are changes from '09.
If it's one thing Lexus really needs to change with the IS interior is with the lights from green to white or blue.
