Noisy F-sport springs resolved
**As of right now not all the dealers know about it yet.
Richard my adviser has informed me that Lexus is going to replace the springs in the rear that cause the clunky sound our F-sport springs make while in motion. This is a by appointment basis only at the service center in Westminster. Call Lexus to talk to Richard the main number is 714-892-5500 he'll give you more information after Oct 1st.
I dont have the exact details but that was what was passed on to me until full details are released. Hope this helps F-Sport spring owners like me

You sure they are going to replace the springs? There was a recent TIP released by Lexus in regards to this. They basically are going to add insulators to the top coils (similar to the Tein silencers).

Interesting TIP, thanks Certainly a cheaper solution than replacing the springs, because I assume their was probably a running production change with the newer springs not having the problem.
I have Eibach 350's shipped from Eibach in May 2009, no noises.
Regardless I expect more information to surface based on what OP is hearing from dealer.

Need more info. What are they claiming is the actual problem with the springs? What are the paremeters? What about others who bought their own F-springs, had them installed outside the dealer, and had to buy sleeves to quell the noise? Please post whatever more info you learn. Incidentally, I bought my springs from Westminster.

Fizzboy7; i figured some doesnt encounter the clunk issues..but if you do, know which side(s) making the clunks then put 3-4 tein silencer rubber and it will definitely solve the clunking issue. try searching about it, i think there is a post showing where to put the silencer rubbers for u to refer.

hehe maybe we can inform them that installing the sleeves solved the clunking problem. perhaps they will include free rubber silencers upon purchasing the f-sport springs in future? hehe
