Smile Help to get a decent body kits & exhaust

I've recent purchased 2009 is250 TP color. I am thinking to mod. Please any suggestions for nice kits. Do they make one for 09' front bumper ? if you do, where to buy and install for Southern Ca. Thanks

there should be a few kits, although not as many as for the 06-08 models.

you can get them from select clublexus vendors in the vendors section.

if you're looking for install work, i can recommend a shop for you that can do a real good job... it's in the 626, and quite a few 2is owners can vouch for that shop.

Your safe bet is to go with GFX OEM body kit:

For the best look and finish, but aggressive look go WALD:

I am thinking to order from sewell or westminster lexus for OEM kits. But I heard that 09' will not fit perferctly for the front air dam, is that true? Please tell me the name of the shop to install, and how they charge for the whole completely kits, thanks

the 06-08 oem gfx kits will not fit the '09 front bumper. everything else - the side skirts and rear lip - should.

tommy leung @ musicbox can do the install for you; he's worked on quite a few 2is's, and knows his way around them. give him a call for a quote; a search of "musicbox" in the socal CL section should pull up his information.

unless you're looking at total front bumper replacement, the 06-08 front bumper is styled slightly differently than the '09+ front bumper. as such, 06-08 front lip applications differ from '09+ front lip apps.

tommy @ musicbox?

he's one of the very few people i trust with my 2is.

i believe other socal 2is owners can vouch for his work.

They specifically make one for the 09+ model from what I remember. There is no way the 06-08 Wald front will fit on the 09+ front.

So if GFX front kit doesn't fit 09', what brand of kits will fit ? I don't want to do everthing, except front. That will looks weired, right ?

The 2009 front lip is dead sexy. I love that friggin lip! Wish the 06-08 was a nice... Its understated but will 'lower' the front more then the 09' GFX front lip will, and its nicer looking IMO.

Its on the LINKS TO BODY KITS link above... scroll down and look at '09" section.

I would take that lip and use the rest of the 06-08' GFX kit as that will fit the rest 09...

That would honestly be my kit out of all kits I've ever seen, 08's included. That way you can slam it on coils without having to excessively worry about cracking your front lip, ala INGS & Vertex.

Anway, this was probably too much info... out of this entire post, just take these four words from it: 2009 Lexon Font Lip
