Hey guys,

I've owned my new used '06 AWD IS250 for over a month now and I was just wondering what you guys use to wipe down your dash and clean the interior. I used to use the Armor All spray for my dash in my '87 Volvo but it actually caused the plastic to dry up and a huge crack formed soon after. Don't want the same thing happening to my Lexus.

I don't like to use Armor All (or similar products) on the dash etc.. cause it leaves a greasy/shiny surface (and smell). I personally use a Swiffer Duster for the dash/instrument cluster and microfiber towels to clean the interior, along with a shop-vac as well. I do use a Meguiar's leather wipe on my seats tho.

Meguiers has a Vinyl Foam that is a bit neater to use on the dash. I find the liquid sprays tend to over spray too much. Although you could wet the rag down first

 

I personally would not use Armor All. Never liked the look it gave to the interior. I stick with Meguiars.

 

I use Meguiar's Quick Interior Detail on the vinyl and plastics
Lexol leather conditioner on the leather.

I tried the Meguiar's quick interior wipes, but did not like them at all... way too greasy, glossy and uneven.

 

I use Meguiars Quik Interior Detail spray for dashboard and plastics. For the leather, I use Meguiars Gold Glass Leather Conditioner/Cleaner spray for quick wipes and touch ups. For actual cleaning for the leather, I have a bottle of Lexol leather cleaner and a bottle of Lexol leather conditioner. I use the Lexol every few months as a treatment while the Meguiars leather spray on a bi-weekly basis.
