Default HID's shining too high

Hi guys,

The city was doing some roadwork and they cut out a portion of the road. I hit the end of it pretty hard and now my HID's are aiming way high. I tried disconnecting the AFS and reconnecting it but that doesn't work. Any of you guys had the same problem before. Seems like half of the beam is shining correct and the other half is shining high.

there is an AFS sensor on your suspension, i'm guessing that when you hit the bump or w/e hard it moved it around.... although i find it hard to believe the sensor can be knocked loose that easily.... u must've hit it really hard. look at DIYs for lowering your car. it will show you where the sensor is located.

the sensor controls how high or low your headlights point.

edit: here is the sensor i'm talking about https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...linking-3.html
that must've got bumped somehow..... =\. Thats my guess

Does it look like there are 2 different cutoffs? I'm having the same problem. Parked about 30ft from a wall, one cutoff is about 2ft off the ground and the other was 4ft off the ground, and a little fainter. I've tried adjusting the AFS sensor on the rear suspension, but it only lowered the lower cutoff. I think my next step will be adjust the AFS sensor on the front suspension. If you figure out what's wrong, let me know.

The drivers side light will be aimed lower than the passenger side so it doesn't blind oncoming drivers

Okay, I figured it out. I guess when I hit the dip it somehow jammed the drivers headlamp up. All I had to do was turn the adjusting screw down and it brought the lamp back down. The passenger side was okay so thats why it showed two beams.

Oh, it's supposed to be that way? I noticed that my driver side is slightly lower than the passenger side. I figured it got misaligned and I was going to adjust it with the adjusting screw..
