I traded my beloved '02 S2000 in on an '06 IS350 almost 4 years ago after a divorce. Having a roadster as my only vehicle sucked, so I felt that the IS350 would be more practical while still being sporty. It was my first Toyota product after a long list of Honda products. However, now that I'm married again, and my wife has an SUV, I don't really need the bigger car. After quite a bit of soul and internet searching, I've decided to trade my IS350 in on another S2000.
Yesterday, I found a great deal on an '08 GP White S2000 for $26,500 (red interior, removable hard top, OEM rear wing, 6600 miles), so I put a deposit on it. I believe the dealer (Bankston Honda of Lewisville) is also giving me a fair trade-in value on my IS350 ($22K - Base model with 49,000 miles).
I'm sure I'll miss this car, and will probably regret the fact that I didn't ever try reclaiming my "Fastest Known IS350 in the 1/4 mile" title.
