Looking at 2008+ IS350s and having a tough time finding one with ML/Navi audio. Besides a better sounding stereo system are there any other benefits with the ML/Navi package? I'd love to be able to connect my USB thumb drive which hosts all my mp3s. Any hacks or options to consider?

the ML audio system can also play dvd movies. u have to be in park to watch the movie though, but there is hack for that.

I wish i had the ML on cause it would be great watching dvds. After its hacked.

Get it, it's amazing! As funnie was saying, you can watch movies on it in park and there's a hack on here to be able to watch whenever. Also, with one of the Vais cables, you can hook up your iPod/iPhone and play video through that too. The sound is amazing (though I think the bass is a little lacking) through the ML system and worth every penny!

yeah i agree

anyone notice with the hack the movies are a little cut off?
like you can only see 80% of the video
it seems like the movies wont resize or something

With the Vais kit, you can play iPod and iPhone videos even if you don't have the Mark Levinson stereo.

I really wish that i had ML. Non-ML seems like you have to fine tune the sound almost specific to each song to sound good, never experienced that in another car.
