newbie question about mods for IS250
Whats a good place to start with mods on the IS250, been seeing alot of awesome cars on here and would love to mod my IS250, but have never done this and really don't know where to start.
I am in Austin, Texas.
1) Want to drop my car. Do I take it to the lexus dealer and have them do it? Do I take it to a shop that does custom car stuff?
2) Wheels seem to be a must have to really set off the car. Love the black or gunmetal look.
3) What other mods are doable by someone with no previous experience? Basically scared to take apart my car. :-)
Thanks

Some people in the regional forums can help point you in the direction of good reputable shops that will be cheap. If you have the $$$ dealership warranties it if you get F-Sport. If you want other aftermarket springs, you can go to a shop and have them install it. I'm sure some of the other Texans would be willing to give you a hand with installation. You can do lights/bulbs by yourself too, nice way to stand out especially at night. Besides that, intake and exhaust aren't too bad. You can probably do a lot of suspension work yourself.
There's not much performance mods, mostly cosmetic and sound.

Welcome to CL. A good start would be drop, wheels, sways and tint. Ask around and have a reputable shop in Austin do your springs or coils. Some mods you can do yourself with little experience are LED interior, redouts, intake and sways aren't that bad with the proper tools. Post up some pics!
