Default vs-xx rim question for my awd

Will 18x8 38 clear the calipers? I thought it would be fine but read one post to the contrary. Need an answer asap. Thanks. Also would tpms work with these wheels.

If you are referring to the WORK VS-XX in 18x8.0 +38, then that would be an A-Disk

18" A-Disk VS-XX will clear both front and rear calipers of the IS250 based on our data

If in the case that you choose to upgrade your brakes, it is dependent upon which brake kit you choose. You can always obtain the brake caliper diagram for the BBK you will run and forward to us to check caliper clearance.

In addition, TPMS can be retained in two different ways:

- Have additional TPMS hole drilled in the barrel at the time of production by WORK Japan at no additional charge

- Use 90 degree TPMS valvestem adapters, which are sold separately with wheels

Any other questions please feel free to shoot me a PM

One note for the VS-XX specifically:

- the 18" VS-XX uses a one piece 90 degree valvestem (V24C) - cannot use adapters
- the 19" VS-XX uses a TWO piece 90 degree valvestem (V27C) - CAN use adapters
- the 20" VS-XX uses a one piece 90 degree valvestem (V36C) - cannot use adapters

The TPMS valvestem adapter threads into the bottom of the valvestem (that is on the inside of the wheel), so it would work with the two piece 90 degree valvestem.

With that being said, the 18" + 20" valvestems will not accept the adapters.

So if you are ordering 18" or 20" VS-XX, you would want to request to drill the additional TPMS hole at time of production if you want to retain TPMS.

WORKWheels; for 19" VS-XX 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, what offsets do you recommend? Just for perfect fitting. Thanks.

Default 19x8.5 VS-KF +39mm on AWD

Since you seem like the "WORK" pro, I have a few ?'s for you (if you don't mind). I just custom ordered a set of 19" WORK VS-KF 19x8.5 +39mm offset, O Disk. I did request to have the TPMS hole drilled. With the setup above for 2008 IS250 AWD, will I have any issues with installation (ie. rolling wheel wells, shaving fenders, break clearance, etc)?

My plan is to keep my stock 17" for winter and just do an easy swap once the wheels are in. Should I just be able to have my local tire place swap these out w/o any modification to my car? I would hate to get them on and then realize that I'm rubbing when doing a tight 3-point turn.

Any thoughts on this would be wonderful!!
