Knowing Toyota some one will have to mess with the chain sooner or later. Their timing guides are known to brake and slap against the chain causing all sorts of noise.

you guys are ridiculous. just go to anywhere with a cheap oil change coupon (ntb, pepboys, carx, midas, etc.). You can get a full oil change for less than 25 bucks. If you're that picky or nervous, you can stand with the tech and watch him do it (talk to him to make it less awkward).

never go to the dealership unless you have warranty issues that you need to take care of. you basically need an oil change every 5000 miles, and change the cabin/air filter whenever they get dirty (every 15k-30k miles). just follow the manual! if it says spark plugs at 60k, go to a local shop like pepboys, find a coupon on the internet, and get it done for cheap! or do it yourself.

You bought a lexus! There's not that much maintenance!
