that's a very generous offer for a little bit of a 2is owner's time. wish i could, but i'm sure there are many other 2is's worthy of kazz-sports' time, money, and (most importantly) product.
thanks to sam @ kazz-sports for contributing to our 2is aftermarket community.

Update from Kazz-Sports
Hi everyone,
First of all, it's great to see the enthusiasm of the 2is community here on Club Lexus! We got a large number of offers but unfortunately could only choose one. I emailed everyone who responded, if we have time to take photos with a second car we might still contact you, but please don't change your plans for us...
A couple of issues brought up on the Forum and in emails from members:
1) Price: we don't know for sure yet, but it will likely be in the $400 range retail.
2) Emblem vs No Emblem: the emblem is the stock emblem and it can be optionally removed or replaced on the grille, so there's no need to make a choice. You can have it both ways. You can see the installation instructions (in Japanese) with pictures at http://www.kazz-sports.co.jp/crown/i...ke_grille.html. Picture #7 shows how the emblem goes on.
Also, note that the emblem in the photos features our Kazz-Sports Carbon Inner Plate aka Carbon Emblem, sold separately, these are available already at http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2049.
3) We'll have a booth at the SEMA Show but will be there only Tuesday and Wednesday. Feel free to check us out at booth #11651 in North Hall.
Thanks again for all your replies, we'll be sure to post some of the photos we take in Las Vegas on the board!

thats a nice front end, any chance it will fit the 09s? If not, are you planning on releasing one which fits the 09s?

1) The person we chose didn't post here (they responded to a post on another message board) so I want to respect their confidentiality for now, but they're welcome to step forward if they like! They are known to this board, though.
2) Unfortunately, the grille won't fit the 2009 and I'm not sure about the 2008 (we'll test when we're in the US; Japanese models are often slightly different). We'll definitely look into a grille for newer models if the current grille is a success but it's not likely to happen in the near future.

Just so you know the second generation IS Model began as a 2006..
(released in late 2005)
YOUR grill design will work on ALL 2006 to 2008 IS300, IS250 & IS350..
USA Spec and all other regions as well..
The "refreshed" grill is now found on all 2009-2010 IS Models around the World.
Best Regards,
Joe Z

Hi all,
Thanks guys for the info on USA IS grilles!
1) We will start selling these grilles in a few months through US distributors but we don't have the details yet. They're not even available for sale in Japan yet, the page you saw is for preorders only.
2) Yes, the emblem adaptor is included with the replacement grille.
