Is that an oil filter holder replacement? It seems itll make it easier to replace oil filter every time. Anyone have it?

Yea, it's an oil filter. You maybe thinking of filter setup similar to what I had on my last car, where all you replaced was the cartridge and the plastic housing gets reused. Most cars have filters like this where the filter media and shell are one piece and replaced as a unit.
