Alright guys im going to replace the dark blue ones with lighter blue most probably tomorrow. I will post a pic on this thread and you guys can let me know if ill get bothered by those. Thanks for helpin me decided to take them off i certainly dont want any more tickets..

i had those lights for one day and i got a ticket, cop was a d**k but the judge dropped the charges when i told her i took them off . just a tip bro

damn lol i cant believe those blue lights are that big of a deal i had no idea! Wowww im so glad i posted them up and had everyone tell me to take them off. I really didnt think it was that serious and like i said i live in the worstttt place where cops dont get any worse on small bull**** things like that..

i have my is drl dark blue too. they look great not afraid of cop pulling me over. past by my local cop every day and several state troopers they haven't say anything yet. they all look at my car of course.

Isn't it illegal to have blue/red lights on a car? Since it's like impersonating a police officer/emergency vehicle, or is it only red lights?

yup it is. impersonating an officer can go anywhere from a misdimenor to a felony if convicted

Yesterday i was down in hollywood for halloween and it was traffic like a mother..and there were A LOT of cops. Anyways I passed by like 10 cops by the time i actually had one stop me for the blue bulbs. The officer stopped me by hand (they were on foot all over the sidewalk) and came over to my window and told me those lights are illegal only police officers can have blue lights blah blah you dont wanna get a ticket for that take them off. I said i will and he let me go.

Now i imagine if it wasnt traffic like that they would be more than happy to stop me and cite me up for it. It was traffic so i assume they didnt want to cause any more traffic for something so small. $25 isnt much to have my car the way i like it but it isnt worth the hassle of being pulled over and grabbing cops' attention.
