this reminds me, some moron at my school walked past me and asked why my car was "riced out". This upset me very much. When I asked him why he said its because of my exhaust and my wheels. First off, I have custom magnaflow exhaust with stock looking tips that sounds more like a porsche than a ricer. Second, I have 19" silver, not chrome or anything tacky, Enkei 5 spokes. I was trying to figure out for the rest of the day how that made my car ricey.... Needless to say the guy knows nothing about cars.

Never had anyone mistake my IS for a honda lol. Have had lots of people think i must be uber rich because i own a lexus. Back when i used to get my dd detailed and cleaned all the time people would always comment on how nice and clean it was.

I owned one of my coworkers in an argument about his 'very close to blowing up' MK3 few weeks ago and his final words were 'have fun driving your camry'
other than that, i get nothing but good comments. I get calls on weekly basis from people saying "Hey i saw your IS here and there and that S&(# is sick!".
People can say anything they want, at least i know that i don't look like any other IS around here

Amazing how many people have their fragile egos tied to their cars. Instead of just saying "thank you" and moving on, it's 5 pages of slamming a guy for working at McD's, etc. At least he has a job, and maybe he was just giving you a hard time.
