So I finally got my lug nuts in which took freaking three weeks...long story. Anyways, I just installed my wheels right now and everything else is immaculate except for my right rear. Even while driving straight it rubs like crazy in the right rear. Is there anyone else experiencing the same thing? Is it some type of defect that all IS owners have? I didnt have problems whatsoever with my stock 18's but then again im sure if I raise it up it should help a lot. Also, when im standing behind my car I can definitely see the right rear stick out a bit further than the left rear. Please give me some feedback. The left rear is flushed with the fender and again here are my specs:
19x8.5 +35 and 15mm ichiba II so that's +20
19x9.5 +43 with 20mm ichiba II so that's +25
Tire Sizes: 215/35/19 and 235/35/19
Suspension: Megan Coilovers

I had a similar problem with a different tire/wheel combo. One side would be fine, but the other side would rub. And this was after the fenders were rolled. I couldn't figure it out - maybe it was because of slight differences in how the tire was mounted. I didn't notice if one wheel stuck out farther than the other.
Anyway, I eventually solved the problem by getting skinnier tires.

Hmm now that you mentioned this, I wonder the same thing. I tend to rub on my rear passenger fender more often than anything else. I've shaved down more on that side than the driver side rear fender also.
I've got 19x10 +24 in the rears on 245/35/19. Anyone else care to chime in?

The only resolution that I can come up with is raising the car a bit to prevent rubbing and as for the right passenger sticking out a bit more then the left passenger I can swap out only the rear passenger's wheel spacers to 15mm instead of the 20mm

i didn't notice it at first, but after getting sideswiped and then fixed, i notice the right rear wheel is very flush, while the left rear is a lil sunken in. it was even more noticeable when i lowered it some more. i just figured the accident somehow shifted everything to one side, which didn't really make any sense to me.

Has anyone done anything different to the right side compared to the left side, in terms of fender modification? Like I stated earlier, I'm shaved more on the rear passenger side than the rear driver side and I don't think I want to shave anymore... Has anyone gone completely flat?

No fender mods...the only way I can think of to balance out the passenger rear is to replace the spacers to 15mm while leaving the driver side rear at 20mm. I hope it won't look funny

Same thing happened on my TL after springs and wheels where installed. There was more negative camber on one side which prevented that wheel from rubbing, however the other side rubbed due to a slightly more + camber. Shouldn't be anything to worry about, just roll the fender a bit.
I can almost guarantee that if you take it to an alignment shop the wheel that is NOT rubbing will have more negative camber that the wheel that IS rubbing.

Great news, I raised my car a tad bit and now it's perfect. I no longer have rubbing issues. So if anyone is looking to have an aggressive look and not roll their fenders then use my specs. Photoshoot soon!!!
