Hello all, I would like to retract the earlier comment about my IS350's transmission and my overall sentiment with Lexus as it was not justified. The issue with my previous transmission at 123k miles was entirely my fault for not inspecting the torquing of the bolts underneath the tranny oil pan after the service was done at 60k miles on the engine, even so considering the job was done at a reputable automotive shop with 5 stars on Yelp--well not considered reputable any longer according to my experience and standard (Thanh's Automotive in the SJ bay area).

I had the tranny replaced with an OEM 50k mileage transmission and now the transmission and car itself behave like a brand new Lexus with effortless mechanical movement and transitioning between gears. I just wanted to update the Lexus family and make this important amendment. My desire for a Tesla Model 3 or S has substantially declined as well, funny how life works. I can answer any questions leading up to my resolution as well. Cheers all, love.

Currently at 216XXX, still runs good. Owned since early 2016 and since then only replaced the alternator and the battery about 17 and a half times. Burns less than a quart every 3k, transmission still running good. Not planning on getting rid of it anytime soon.

2009 is250 awd 97k miles. Issues have been an axle every 2 years give or take (probably from lowering lol ). Ac went last summer and did a new compressor. Some rust issues like muffler hangers had to change. I’ve had that rattle on startup issue for years now, luckily it has caused no problems. I’m going to say the most expensive cost has been the Ac. Other then that the car is running great. The car is over ten years old now and I’m trying to keep up with everything. Paint chips, trim, rust etc. Has not been garaged. still looks pretty good tho.

Does rr racing catch can hose fits? Or you buy ur own?
looking for 1, fro. My k&n air intake to manifold, hose measured about 1inch (hole). Was wondering might change the flow if i change it to smaller one.

The included hose is supposed to be enough but for some reason, I couldn’t fit the metal plate on that left side area. So I ended up putting it next to the battery and use 24” zipties to secure the can. I had to buy extra hose 5/16 500 psi transmission cooler hose.

it’s a temporary setup since i need to know how much oil it’s spitting out. The RC spits a lot - half per month on regular 60miles/day daily driving.
