High mileage IS250/IS350's...

06 350. 67000 miles. Oil changes every 7500mi.. TSB for cold engine start rattle. Brakes at 28k and 60k. Stock tires replaced at 47000miles. No other issues, other than just typical wear and tear and dings and so on.
Some minor rattles in my rear driver side door, attribute it it the HKS hipower exhaust I put on in April. Sometimes a small rattle in dash, but very intermittent like maybe 1 trip out of 50. Only mods other than exhaust are JoeZ since new,and a ISF rear sway at same time as exhaust. Until I did these two mods I was going to trade my car.

06 IS350 Sport with GFX kit
Tanabe Exhaust
Joe Z Intake
JTW rear roof spoiler
50K miles (Wifeys car)
No known problems.
Did all the TSB at 48K miles...
I hate washing the front wheels.. even with the new brake pads.
Just got an aftermarket windshield rain sensor doesn't work as well as the OEM. But I am still not paying $1200 for something that can potentially crack the next day. Other than that great little fast car.

08' with 52k miles. Got the car February of 08 so coming up on 2 years now! No major problems really. Stereo was acting up and replaced about 10k miles ago, cam gears were replaced as part of a TSB which eliminated the grinding sound I would hear on a cold start up. Drivers exterior door handle replaced because it became loose and apparently it's simpler to replace than tighten???
Regular oil changes done by the dealer at 5k intervals
Changed the rear differential fluid at 50k miles
Replaced the coolant at 50k miles
About to need 2nd new set of front brake pads, original rotors still good.

I know I am going to be the winner of this one seeing as my '10 IS350 is currently in the garage waiting for me to get back from Afghanistan (next month!!!). The wife has put about 30 more miles on it since this shot. Between the G37 and 335i, I think I made the wisest choice, especially reading this thread. Some 335is have been breaking down after only a couple thousand miles. There's only one 2IS in here that has a problem and it wasn't THAT serious. I'm sure G37s are reliable, but the resale value isn't even close. 2IS is the best sedan money can buy, hands down.

Want a crazy statistic? I'm still on my FIRST set of brake pads. 7mm left on front, 6mm left on rear.
