Same, my sunglasses don't fit in there, so I keep my garage opener in there. My garage is connected to the house but there isn't a direct doorway from the house to the garage. The doorway to the garage is outdoor as well.

I use the opener to get in the car, put it in the holder then use homelink to close the garage door.

One of those weird Vancouver houses.

Stuck sunglasses holder opened

i used a credit card in the front and pushed it all the way back & forth until the holder released. Pushing it at the back is no use because the latch free point in the front was stuck because of the cleaning cloth.
