Default HELP! replacement rim OEM VS REPLICA

Hey guys,

In another post, i stated i have a cracked rim from a pothole. I need to know which is the better purchase, OEM replacement rim or a REPLICA rim? I found a replica for about $150 and a OEM for about $320. Need some quick suggestions, need to buy one today.

thanks

Though time is short, you may also want to consider used OEM wheels from someone on this forum, especially if they are within your area. Something to consider if you want OEM but don't want the cost.

I bought a set of 4 chrome Replica 18" wheels for $550 shipped from ebay for my IS250 (no longer have) and they were perfect, looked and drove like OEM. So I would say there really isnt much difference, except peice of mind i guess...

i'd look for a used OEM wheel shop in your area. IIRC, i bought an OEM 17" Volvo rim for under $200 near mint condition. Of course.. price will vary.. but i would pick used OEM over new aftermarket anyday. Goodluck!
