I didn't want real leather seats when I bought my IS350 ,but Lexus doesn't offer other options. Do you know of a good aftermarket shop that does good work to replace my leather seats with synthetic leather or cloth?

Are you looking to recover your seats or go with totally new seats?

I know Katzkin makes synthetic covers but not sure they do they whole seat or just the inserts with it.

From what they told me at the dealership, Lexus does not offer anything else. BMW does offer fake leather but I didn't want a BMW.

^the fake leather is terrible on BMWs its worse than cheap fake leather sofas.

You realize that "synthetic leather" is just vinyl, right? This is the same stuff that was all the rage in the 70s, and results in a hot sweaty *** after sitting on it for 2 minutes. It also sticks to your skin, doesn't breathe, stretches over time, and gets a nice shiny "patina" on it that just reeks of cheapness. That, and you can look forward to breathing in some nice chemical off-gassing as the oils release.

Is this for real? If you want to find some seats on the cheap, you can probably find a nice AMC Gremlin in a junkyard.

I still am personally curious as to why you don't like the leather seats? Is it because vinyl is easier to care for or something? I just never heard someone ask for vinyl over leather when leather was already in their car

Are you concerened the leather seat will look bad or to much to care for? because the seats really need NO maintenance. Just a simple wipe down, or for the detailers they condition it still(but it doesnt do much).

Just don't care for animal products. Just wished there were cloth options like back when Lexus first started. My first Lexus was a 1993 ES300 without leather from the factory.

I know this may seem harsh but... if you trash the leather seats, you're kind of wasting the animal's purpose it died. They're already in your car, just give thanks to the cows that died for it and enjoy.
