Default Just Got a 2010 SGM is350 need some help and suggestions.

I just got a SGM is350 2010 and i got a few quick questions. Maybe you guys can help. I came from a 01 s2000 that i had for like 6 years it got totaled like 2 weeks ago

First off was wondering if i got a good deal...? I haggled for at least a week between 4 different dealerships in the state. and i got it for 39500 OTD so around 37000 before TTL. I got denied from like 2 dealerships for even saying anything below 40500 OTD.

Options are NAV package, Premium Value Package, and the Cargo Accessories. Total sticker price was 43,5xx

Second off what the proper break in procedures you guys used? Same as any other car?

and lastly any DIY thread?!!! I would never bring my car to the stealership unless its something i absolutely can't do. lol i really don't wanna mess with this car like i did the S2k (TURBO,SC, wheels, amuse street kit, hardtop and what not)

regards,

Thx for the help ahead of time

Anything around 40K is a great price with Navi and premium package. break in procedures are usually around a thousand miles running the car hard(redline if possible through each gear). Yeah their are so many DIY threads in here (helpful), from placing jack stands, bulb changing, blk out housing etc.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. I think you got a pretty good deal on your car. As for DIY, check this thread out. You'll find tons of info.

Congrats on the new IS350. Don't worry about pricing anymore, it's a done deal.

Show us a pic when you can.

Congratulations. the SGM color with the '09/'10 IS x50 tail lights is pure sex, seriously. I love riding behind a rear of the '09/'10 for the tail lights alone. The way they light up at night is also sexy as ****.

Seriously park your car at night (while lights are on auto) and once you get out just stare at the back straight on while crouched, it's just sexy god i love those lights.

in other news, congratulations again on the car. break in - baby it but periodically be sure to apply varying degrees of throttle and run through the gears to ensure fully proper break in.

don't take my word for break in procedures though, I really don't know anything about it.

Excellent! Congrats! You are going to love the ride, features, and styling.
As far as pricing, it's too late to be asking that question, so don't worry about it. However in the future, always buy a car working off of the invoice price, not the sticker.
For breaking in, please read all your owners manual. It will be the most informative and interesting book you'll read.

I know the rest of the drivetrain will still be virgin, but my owners manual states that the engine is pre-run in from the factory and does not require an extended running in period?
