Default Anyone lower their 2IS in SF??
I am just wondering if anyone has lowered their car in SF. The hills in SF are ridiculous and I have seen and heard many cars scrape climbing up and down these hills. I'm just wondering if springs or coilovers could make my car look right without destroying my front.

Yeah I live in sf and slammed on Megan coils, I scrape every where I drive

shouldnt this be in the norcal section?

anyways...

... if your not scrapping your not right or just clear bra wrap your kit like me

isn't that the truth.

I scrape on occassion. You just got to be careful and know which roads/streets to take and which not to take. Scrapping on a lowered car is unavoidable.

i would not lower my 2IS, my g35 isn't even that low and i scrape everywhere in sf -.-

lol i drove in a not lowered IS250 and i never scrape even once i don''t see why a 1.5" drop would scrape... LOL... go for it.. LOOKS 1ST THEN drivabilitty

lol have you been to SF? its impossible to not scrape there with a lowered car.

haha i just got back from SF...Long weekend...I did see a few nice modded IS'..
Thought about it..i was like damn if i ever drive my car here i am gonna scrape....Was fun good times..

wrong, I drive with a very low IS350 with 0 finger gap all around. Never really had any problems with the road here.

I drive low in sf with a ing body kit too and I don't scrape lol

How is the clear bra holding up. I would imagine it would be scraped clean after a couple trips to the financial district. Is there an option just to get the clear bra for the front lip?

Wow, I scraped going up a random person's driveway for a 3 point turn already . The car is DD so drivability comes first . I'm mainly concern of cracking the front lip one day due to abuse. Those hills around the financial district and chinatown look menacing.
