I got a friend going back to China to pick one up (in a couple of weeks)...he lives 30 minutes away from their China HQ and said the price will be around a tick or two north of ~$1000. I hope they have an IS at their location to test out the units.

Was there an update ever released for the first Gen system to improve the integration of iPod and BT?
I have my unit from early 2010 and was hoping to see a firmware upgrade after almost to 2 years...

Hi I was wondering if any of you guys are having the same problem I got after replacing battery but after replacing my car battery the bluetooth wouldnt pair and dvd would play you could hear it but image wouldnt show even when e brake on, everything works except for these and not sure if I need to update my firmware or does anyone know where I can download it?

I never had any problem with the bluetooth, but I just experienced the dvd playing with no image. At the bottom of the screen there were a few buttons to adjust t the screen ratio ("4:3", "16.9", and "Full"). As I selected one of them, the DVD image started showing up.

Since you disconnected the battery, it is possible that your Flyaudio unit might have lost your bluetooth settings for paired devices.

I tried them all no image still , and the Bluetooth I could only turn on and off Bluetooth but the pair would not work. Is there anyone on here had this problem or who u could talk too about this. And where is this SD card located?

Does anyone Know who can I contact for the tech support for flyaudio? Cause I've email them twice and no reply but I speak to one Asian guy (+1) 425-672 4828 but told me to email. Support@flyaudio.us but no reply still . Do they have a update for the first gen?

The update fixed the clock lag between GPS clock and system clock and it is in a 12 hour cycle instead of 24 hr. Also, the buttons on the steering wheel seem to be more responsive.

New problem: While in the navigation mode, all of a sudden the unit switches to a different screen l such as DVD or radio. At times, this can get annoying and it has happened to me about a few times since the update.

I was able to change the songs when listening to the iPod using the steering wheel buttons even before the update!

^^ Do you have the first gen? I can't change songs using the steering wheel when listening to ipod on my iphone, either, even with the update. I have the 2nd gen.
