I emailed flyaudio to send me an updated harness twice and NO reply...

CLT replied and said they are "evaluating" the fix and will let them know later... ugh....

I'd rather not have to mess with my stock connector if I can help it...

the AM fix is not reversible back to the stock harness?

It's reversible. Just remove the pin from FA harness and install it back to the vehicle harness.

where do you find the updates for the fly audio units ? only CLT provides them ?

^^yea i need a update again.. ughh nothing is working correctly on my unit now!! fffffff it has a mind of its own right now.. it works when it wants to work now! i almost punch the damn thing today! so just angry right now

I think the updates are distributed by the vendor(s) or sometimes directly by Flyaudio. I'm lucky that I live very close to Flyaudio's main headquarters in America and they send me updates frequently before the official release dates. I'm kinda the guinea pig

Can you watch DVD's and input direction when the car is in "motion" with the FlyAudio radio?

Well, they gave me a modified harness to test.. so far it's been working fine and the Am and FM's reception greatly improved.

I just took the yellow wire out and put it into the flyaudio harness. Its reversible.

To change them do you just pull hard on the yellow wire. If so, does it comes out with the pin from the main harness. Then do you just push it hard into the flyaudio socket?

I've just got my flyaudio unit today and haven't got the old head unit out yet.

Also, does anyone know what the following cable are for:

The one labelled "lin" - black RCA type connector.
The BAT+/-, ACC, BRAKE, BACK connectors
The CAR SPEED one.

Should these be hooking up anywhere?
I must say the instructions are next to useless!
