I have been testing a new firmware from FlyAudio during the past two weeks. The A/C temperature display has completely been fixed. The temperatures start from Low,65,...,85, HI. However, I think the sound quality has gone down. I had to set the "Bass" to max.

Has anybody got this firmware/update?

The A/C temperature display has completely been fixed. (....) However, I think the sound quality has gone down
Why am I not shocked? .... Typical Flyaudio... fix one thing and something ELSE goes wrong...

If you check the update files, can you see when they were created. The ones I got were created on 2/18/2012.

Yes: From DVD (DVD Video, not from DVD Data), Aux IN input (External controls only)

No: From iPod connector, USB, SD card.

Is this what you mean?

That sucks... I wish if it would play video files from USB.

After the install my airbag light came on and I just received an updated harness. Will just changing the harness make the light go off, or do I need the get the code reset too? Any help would be appreciated.

That will most likely take care of the airbag light.

Just a side note, my IS is an 06 and I have tried different harnesses from Flyaudio (including the one that triggers the airbag light) and never got any airbag light in the dash.

Same here. My FM is very poor, lots of static and interference, and the AM is completely non-existant. It was 100% perfect with the stock head unit. And yes, i have also tried the power antenna wire swap shown here.

I really sucks when a $20 Walmart radio works better than a $2,000 "premium" head unit!

A few of us in this forum that did the yellow wire swap, the radio reception greatly improve. You should double check your connections.

I bought this unit knowing all the problem because it's the closest thing to the factory unit and it look nicer than non-nav radio.
