Good point, I will definitely pass that information along to Fly Audio. Thanks!

Anyone have the ML system that upgraded to this? Wondering if you lose the sound quality (not the true surround...I know that will be gone)? I love the way the ML sounds with the Surround "on" but I don't really watch DVDs with true dolby rather Satellite and Radio that will "simulate" surround sound. I have no aftermarket pieces, just the stock ML. Please let me know!

We are helping Fly Audio solve the airbag light mystery, but it does not have anything to do with the install. The problem has to do with the differences in the US versus European/Asian market Lexus models. I will post updates as they come thru!

I just finished installing the unit in my 2006 and it works! One issue was I had to move the TPMS receiver because it got in the way of the unit. It wouldn't fit in correctly with the receiver there. Did you guys with the 08 IS had to do this? I also had the issue of the navigation exe file not working so I had to email flyaudio. Also, I didn't get the airbag light or at least not yet.

Second unit installed successfully today. Thanks Philip, it was great hanging out with you today and exploring new options with this system. We are going to look into the option of mounting a camera in the front of the car as an extra add on in the future.
An issue we are looking into right now on Philips unit is the radio frequency's won't go above 97.5 FM. When we installed the 1st one, we didn't see this issue, so we are going to look into that.
Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

If the navigation doesn't fire up automatically, you just have to find the file on the SD card. You can do this by going to "Browse>Odyssey Mobile > Bin> Odyssey.exe . Then select Auto Run Navigation When Power On and hit ok. If that doesn't work, let me know! For some reason the system doesn't always find the correct file for the mapping software!

Here's quick tip and one point of commentary:
IPOD: You CAN get playlist selection, but it's the ghetto way. Unplug your ipod, select the playlist you want, then play the first song on it. then plug it back into the flyaudio. It will ONLY play songs on that playlist.
CDC: when playing a MP3 cd, you CAN'T choose folders. Can we pass that to flyaudio for the update?
Also another request: nitpicking, but can we be able to choose to dial numbers from Odyssey nav? That option would be great.
I haven't been able to get a tomtom map to work, but I don't exactly have an "official" version, if you will
