Thanks for the pics Boost3d, I was waiting to hear about this cam...
Is that picture of the video image from after the camera was mounted on the car? It seems to be aiming bit high.
Also, for this camera, if you position it dead center and straight on, is the image straight on as well? (The camera I used was likely designed to be mounted off center so if you mount it straight center the image is off angle a bit. Does this camera do that?)

That image was taken when I took apart the trunk and just plugged it in to see if it works. The view is actually kind of low. I messed up and drilled the hole off centered (i could have swore is was dead centered or the drill bit slipped ) but if u drill it dead center, it will be centered.

btw..did you also have to drill only through the plastic trim? or through the metal trunk too?

you only have to drill the outer piece, which is pictured, which is actually fiberglass, not plastic.

The camera looks great. We are currently looking for a new camera to carry and if users are happy with that, we might buy a batch of those. Your mount job looks great as well. When we install backup cameras at the shop, we use the same technique. We take the trunk lid and plastic cover off and drill on the bench, it's alot easier to be accurate when you can maneuver the pieces around when they are NOT on the car.

You can order the camera from http://www.securitycamera2000.com/pr...ew-Camera.html I have ordered from there, but there seems to be no further quality. My camera stopped functioning after about a month. It is very sensitive to water. But it was this kind of model.http://www.securitycamera2000.com/pr...ide-Angle.html

The flyaudio unit will give you an error that the unit has not been shut down correctly when the car has been started en shut down within a few seconds. Does someone know how this can be solved?
