hi,
can i ask you a question? how do you place the bluetooh cable trough the console, behind the cockpit and the frame near windows (sorry 4 my english)
thank you
another question:
is there a way to play mp3 trough the "mp3" function ( i don't mean the mp3 usb interface)?
is it only trough the micro-sd card?
does this unit play dvix-divx?

Well done man, it looks great. I am doing my installation tomorrow and I also wanted to know how you wired the bluetooth in your car. Have you tried using your bluetooth? Does it work fine or does it have issues? Let me know.

By the way, I called my wife using the bluetooth and she said that the reception was excellent. I've read that people complain about the flyaudio bluetooth but so far it is working fine.

I finished my installation today and I can answer that questions for you. When you open the sunglasses compartment you will see two tabs that you need to pry open using a small flat head screwdriver. When you are done you will see two screws hiding. Remove those two screws and pull down on the dome light until it comes loose. Don't worry about breaking it because it won't.

so i just stuck my mic on the rear view mirror like this:
but now i'm jealous of the stealthness of putting it in the dome ><
dunno if i should start tampering with it again

oh i see ... yea i took out the screws and i kept trying to pull it down .. but it seems that the whole dome compartment had something sticking into the lining of the roof.. i was afraid if i pull it down .. i would rip the lining off too ..

By the way, when you pull that dome compartment down do it from where the lights are located NOT from where the sunglasses are! The two fasteners that hold the dome compartment in place are located by the lights NOT the sunglasses. If you don't know what I am talking about refer to the picture that the other guy posted with his microphone location.

hi,
i've a little problem with igo8
if i'm listening radio or mp3 or something else, when igo8 voice is talking, it mutes the other sounds.
have you got this problem? solutions?
i've tried to edit sys.txt adding this string: "sound_muted=0" but nothing is changed
is there a way to remove dual zone?
thank you

It's not iGo that is muting the other sounds, it's the way the FlyAudio system is dealing with multiple inputs. It's the same reason that you don't have sound when your reverse camera comes on. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about this - every navigation software I've run exhibits the same behavior.
