Does the flyaudio system mess up the recirc/fresh air toggle button?

I went to change my AC cabin filter today, turned on the car, set the climate control to recirculate, but the little door in the glove compartment would not flip up and open. It stayed down the whole time no matter what setting the the climate control was on.

I did not try to force the door open, since thatmay cause permanent damage. Any ideas?

I turn on the car set to recirc, turned off the car, and changed my filter just fine. My door completely detach from the car.

I'm referring to the door that closes over the filter behind the glove box, not the black plastic panel in glove compartment.

Maybe you can take a picture?
There was nothing stopping me from changing the filter and I have the fly audio unit.

I can gently lift the door and see the filter beneath. I haven't yet forced it to fully open, since I'm afraid to break it. My guess is that it's stuck in the outside air position.

Hi, looks different from mine because I didn't see any door.

try to run the car and change the vent settings to see if anything happens.

everything on mine looks 100% like the document below. Maybe different year model?

Isn't there an aux in port in the same area where you put the SD card in? Could have sworn I saw that on an older post...? I could be wrong though

you also should have a A/V cable coming out of the head unit that you can hook up aux video and audio into

You need to turn the "Ipod" feature off. Once you do that the Ipod icon will change ti "Aux"

Does the Flyaudio harness fit in the original factory plug?

I have ordered a Flyaudio HU and am planning to run my TomTom Navigator 6 software. Using a windows mobile emulator, I have tested the program, and can get it to run in 640x480, but in 800x480 resolution mode, the nav display tiles and overlaps. Does anyone have a fix for the resolution sizing? Post #616 shows screen shots, and I'd like to know what needed to be modified within the files to get 800x480 to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
