can someone please help me run a differnt software for GPS?

here is what got, i acquired TOMTOM gps. so i put it in a memorycard and it has 2 .exe files, an "auto" and another one.

so i put the card in the unit and ran the GPS.
got the path not found error, then i selected one of the .exe files and clicked "run gps" and i still got a path not found error, so i tried the other .exe file and got the same path not found error..

what am i missing ???

please help

I dont think many of us are running Tom Tom so we would not be able to help. I think the popular software for this unit is the IGO8.

ok so im getting the igo8...hopefully its the right one...and im getting it from the right place..if you or anyone could please PM me with details on getting it that would be great...

so once i get it...what is the proper way of loading it and making it all work..

I'm runnig iGO primo v1.2 with the latest Navteg maps of USA and I happen with it right now. I don't know how to upload a files about 1.5gb data. Here are the quick preview.

Primo run not as smooth as IGo8, but its manageable .

You'll be able to find everything here just search the IGO section. Ohh and register to the forums as you're not able to see everything without being a memeber.

Yea, the amount of details on the screen slows it down by alot...let me see if I can tweak the map a bit to make it a little smoother. overall I like the interface and tts was pretty easy to install. I will keep it as a secondary gps.
