Headlight bugging out?
So out of nowhere my headlight is starting to act up and I am pretty much screwed. I have the stock headlights with AFS and all that jazz. The left headlight doesn't turn on it will intially turn on for 2 seconds and then shut off. No problems with the right light or the sensor.
So is this under warranty?

Kind of need more information....What year is your car? If it's within the 4yr/50K Miles, it should be fully covered, UNLESS you made mods to the front Lighting system.. In which case you are probably screwed...

No mods done to the car other than hardwiring of the radar detector done by bestbuy.

I got an appointment scheduled for 7:30 to have this fixed. I was just poking around to see if it could be a fuse or something I could fix myself like that!

You should ask if they can replace both bulbs because the new bulb will most likely not match the old bulb as far as color is concerned. As an HID bulb ages the color temperature of HID bulb will change from a yellow white to a more bliush hue. This is refered to as "Color Shifting." Also, because of the color changing you unfortunately will lose some Lumens, so the older bulbs light output will decrease. However, there are some newer bulbs that were designed not to Color Shift. Im not sure if the IS carries these bulbs.
