I did a search and couldn't find a relevant answer. I have a 2006 is350 w/ Nav disc ver 5.1 but i'm having trouble getting to the override menu with these instructions:

press Menu
press Volume
tap top left
tap bottom left
tap top left
tap bottom left

Nothing happens when i do this. I am however able to get to the maintenance menu for the bluetooth mic sensitivity hack.

Any suggestions?

 

iirc when this worked, it only worked until you shut off the car. but it only worked in the original version of software and then it was disabled shortly thereafter.

 

Perhaps the disc was updated with TSIB EL013-006, which fixes the problem of the navigation system losing lock on the satellites?

An unfortunate result of this TSIB is that you lose the override feature.
