Everytime I go to the city I never leave my car on the street, well actually I have left it on the street but for very short periods of time. Also the roads in NYC are awful and it feels like every little bolt is about to come out of the suspension.

I live in Seattle and for the most part I find decent parking if not I pay to park in the garages just for extra assurance.
these are the rules that i follow

Did anyone get the titanium plus service for assurance? The service is suppose to repair any door dings and frame issues. I think also tire problems. I can't find anywhere on the lexus site about this titanium plus service though.

you should be fine with potholes. your oem wheels are 17s..

i always thought about the idea of being a hardparker and getting front and rear tow hooks like what jdm junkies get..that way, when people bump your car, it leaves a damage on their bumper. not yours.

Not a bad idea. I may just look into that if/when I get a new rear bumper.

I live in the 'burbs but go into city (SF and SJ) sometimes. I do have a 2002 Jeep for parking and driving in the worst of situations, it comes in handy.
