yea I think I may either go with a HD750/1 and just use the sub or go with the HD900/1 and just hook up the sub for now. I like the compactness of those HD amps ALOT. I posted the 1000/1 and 300/1 for sale though, Hopefully I get a buyer.
Did you mean HD900/5? I didn't think there was an HD900/1.
The HD750/1 is perfect with the 12w6v2 because you can just get into the "warranty void" area of power. With the 500/1 you're missing out on like 10% of the power that could be supplied without voiding the warranty. Would you ever really need that extra 250 watts, or be able to tell the difference? Probably not. But the HD is also much smaller (especially compared to the monstrous 1000/1), digital, runs cool, has true level control, etc.
