Default UPDATE: VIDEO ADDED Quick Question. Aftermarket Alarm + Lexus CreditCard Key

Sorry for making a thread, but i did not know where to ask.

Last week i had an aftermarket Alaram Put into my 09 IS350. I got a Clifford Matrix 12.5x Installed, and it works amazingly. The guys at the shop i went to managed to get everything working such as unlocking the cars doors, opening the trunk, etc. The only problem with the aftermarket alarm is that i needed a new key fob. I currently have to carry Two key fobs in my pocket and it is very bulky! The reason i need both fobs is becuase i need to use the "Push to start" to start my ignition. My question to you guys is, if i go to my local Stealership, and purchase a Lexus Credit Card Key, would that replace the original lexus keyfob i have? Will the creditcard also start the ignition, becuase thats the only reason i want it. Im really happy with my other Matrix keyfob, i only wished there was a way for it to start my car.

Thanks

Edit: im getting a card key installed tmrw, and here is a video like i promised. Sorry its a day late, but i couldnt film anything yesterday becuase of the whether. im also kinda sick and chewing gum so i sound kinda funny but what ever.

One more videos comming! Because i didnt think the other one saved..

Thanks for the quick reply. So i just need to purchase this credit card and leave it in my wallet and i wont need to use both fobs anymore?

Edit: I read that installation requires the vehical to reset all the keys. would this affect my aftermarket one?

Looks like your question was answered.

Damn we can install alarms on the IS now? I need to hop on this. Do all the features work on the alarm?

Yeah, i went to one of my friends shop and he reccomended me getting a Matrix alarm system becuase of the Subs i got. He said its more sensitive than the Stock alarm which he said really wasn't an alarm at all. IF you guys wnt i wouldn't mind making a video tommarow. Everything works. Just let me know.

Please do! Remote start and everything? Did the installer run into any difficulties? Does he have any notes?

I dont think i got the remote start option becuase it said it was optional. Ill double check, im trying to find the command. The installer didn't run into any difficulties at all, he and his buddy took there time. Installation for everything was about 4 hours. I had to wait and BS with the owner becuase i didn't have a ride back home...

Edit: I called up my friend, and he said that he was unable to install the remote start becuase of the push button ignition. He said it might be possible if he could manipulate the break peddle to have the car start. He said he didnt want to mess with the car too much becuase he has never installed anything on an 09 IS 350. Other than the remote start, everything works. Youll see everything in the video tomorrow, id shoot it now, but it would be really dark and l dont have the best garage light.

The problem I realized with Card key is you can't lock your car from a distance.

Shui- Well have u seen a couple of threads saying that there is got broken into. The alarm didnt sound, or if it did, it wasn't loud at all. With all the money im planning on dumping into my car, id rather be safe than sorry! Notice how the alarm goes off when i use the keyless entry without disarming the alarm...

BUMP-
