this seems to be a good forum with great members.

I can't wait to get automatic, I do to much while driving and lots of city driving to want stick anymore.

as to the IS-F, still to expensive, need to be at 30k or under. this is the whole reason of getting rid of the m3.

as far as fully loaded. what I meant, or consider fully loaded is having the nav, bluetooth, camera, keyless etc..

I am going to drive one later this week, get a better idea of feel and size.

thanks again and I'll keep you posted!

if you don't care for driving a stick anymore then the is350 will work nicely for you then.

First mod or mods you should do is to get the F-sport rear bar at the least or both anti roll bars (front bar is only 6% stiffer). regarding performance, there isn't a whole lot that can be done. Intake adds about 5hp and i would go with f-sport or joez. Exhaust adds another 5-7hp and depending how loud you want to go. Get the tanabe/lexus sport exhaust for quiet exhausts. Fsport/greddy sp2/joez-pts for medium sounding exhausts and the HKS High power if you like louder exhausts. Good luck and post pics when you get the car.

btw - What's your opinion of the ride quality in the IS-F. Did you get a chance to compare it with the IS350/IS250?
Well, the ride quality of the F is something that I don't quite agree with many people on here about. I find it to be fine... but I come from an Evo X, and a Supra MKIV, so I'm no critic. I love this kind of ride... if my surgically repaired back can take it without any pain at all, anyone can.

Compared to the IS F, the IS350's suspension is pretty soft even if you get the Sport Package with the stiffer configuration.

Thanks, I appreciate your hands-on feedback.

Yes, my IS350 came with Sport package but I changed to Eibach 350 springs (essentially the same as F-sport springs) and 19" wheels/T1R tires to firm things up. Ride is still decent with slightly improved handling.

I'll test drive the -F soon enough.
