Obviously snow tires are a plus in this situation, but I throw some sandbags in the trunk and put it in snow mode and I do just fine on my Goodyear Eagle F1 AS. I haven't had any big snow this year but drove around several times last year in 4-6" of snow and had little issues. Make sure when you come to a stop (especially while the engine is cold and revving higher) that you throw it in Neutral. Make stopping 100 times better. The damn car just pulls so hard when it's idling that it will just slide you out of control.

We just got 10" of Snow today and with my new Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's HOLY COW! Night and day difference! I was plowing through massive snow banks and never got stuck! Snow mode + Snow tires FTW!! Turns are no problems, and I can actually accelerate with minimal slip!

Also, the ride quality is amazing, I feel like Im driving a caddilac.
Is Cadillacs ride quality suppose to be better?

Yeah same here. I find the highyway ride is awesome on the Toyo's I have for the winter. I haven't used snow mode much it's a funny feel when I let out the clutch like I'm towing weight. I put three patio slabs in the trunk and I get around just fine with the extra weight. I also find turning off the VSC is a big help as well, it lets the snow tires do their job........my 2 cents.

Go to home depot and buy several sand bags for the trunk to really help with initial traction in snow
