i hate those fix it tickets...got one for both my lexus rides (08 IS F and 92 ES 300). i did a search for alternate plate holders that did not require a front drill. instead there was a manufacturer that would have the plate "roll" out from underneath. all it would require would be two holes drilled under the front bumper. it gives it a lowered look all the while complying with state law. check this out....

Wow thats really neat. Imagine getting pulled over, then when there like wheres your front plate be like in the front of the car. They would be like wtf? and all you have to do is pull it out and up and smile!

^doubt it would work if you get pulled over. cause it has to be probably displayed while you're driving, not just there. that's like having the front plate in your trunk so when you get pulled over, you say "officer, but i do have my front plate...it's in the trunk" better to not have it at all.

i saw a mechanized one like sliding one which would be actually useful. so if you get pulled over, just hit a switch.
