I just installed my sirius and when we installed it they installed in using the AUX input. Now there is a hissing noise and i can stand it. Any suggestions on the way to get rid of this. Should i have gotten the FM pickup instead?

Sounds like a ground loop. Install a ground loop isolator and it's fixed.

What you should've done is buy the Lexus OEM XM radio kit though, plugs right into the trunk, uses the OEM antenna, doesn't take up your AUX input, and you could install it yourself...and since the merger you can get the same programs too.

There is a TSIB out for noise on the Aux input - it should be covered under warranty.

The guys are right.

To others checking this thread, I got my Sirius kit from Best Buy and installed it in less than 2 hours. I have an 06' and no shark fin. Hardest/longest part of the install was getting the air vent tabs to pop out.
