Default Quick question about GFX front lip

I am looking to take advantage of the promotion at sewell on the 16th but had a question about the install of the front lip for the 06-08. I really dont like the idea that the directions say that you have to drill holes in the bumper. Is it possible that you can just use some double sided tape to hold it down rather than drill?

Yes, you can install the front lip without drilling holes. Many people here have done so. The toughest part for me was removing the retainer clips from the stock lip. But with the proper tools it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. Good luck!

yeah i would think you would have to remove the 2 side clips.you dont have to drill holes but two 1 1/2-2 inch slits...not hard at all...but if you removed those clips then double sided tape might work cause you have screws at the bottom to hold the lip in place...not sure how fitment would be with double sided tape though..

Easy install. Took less than 20 minutes. I also removed the clips and never cut/drilled into the front bumper. Screws and double-sided tape have held the front lip in place for the last 2+ yrs. No problems so far.
