Im kind of getting pissed off about these reoccuring incidence in Philadelphia. These reoccuring events is making me be aware of black people in this state.
I am not racist or trying to offend anyone but, I mean listen to this.
1. Parents got gun pointed my black majorities when trying to open up a buisness after getting out of the Lexus is250.
2. Black kids jumped over the fence on our private property and tried to steal the rims off of my sisters is250 with jacks until they got caught by the police.
3. This morning, my sister told me that witnesses saw a group of black kids breaking into her car, stealing her work labtop, sunglasses, ipod, money, and etc.
4. Whats next?
I don't think the alarm system on lexus is very efficient and want to purchase a aftermarket security alarm for my sister and myself since we have 3 is250/350 in the family. Again, im not posting this post because im racist but im getting tired of getting robbed by these groups of people who think "asians" are easy targets.
Anyone recommend any aftermarket security system for the isx50?

yeah, a 12 gauge shotgun. best security system ever made. load up with rock salt or bean bag loads. won't kill them, but it'll make'em bleed.

also, move. that's what the suburbs are for.

i thought about your situation for a little bit.

if i were in your shoes, i'd do two things:

-move to the suburbs
-get a permit to carry a concealed firearm

Sure, I can buy a nice size house in Oakland but I'd rather get a much smaller house elsewhere in a safer neighborhood.

^ +1 Nicer suburbs might help, but then again, moving is a PITA.

I had a Viper alarm on my Honda 3 years ago and that worked pretty well. Not sure what top of the line alarms are out there for the IS. For your situation, I don't think any type of car alarm will help. If these "individuals" want something that bad, they are going to find a way to get it.

Sorry to read about your parents being held up. Terrible situation. The "cougar cats" seems like a feasible idea. Good luck.

Isn't there a law in a lot of states where your home is considered your "castle" and you can defend it (including your cars) with any means necessary from like robbers? Which in this case would allow you to go to the local gun shop with your dad and pick up a nice tactical shotgun or sniper and pick these kids off from the window. I'd prefer the sniper so you don't do damage to your cars. But all joking aside...This kind of thing won't ever stop most likely unless you take action yourself. My parents business has been broken into SO MANY TIMES by the same crowd of people that are breaking in to your cars. And we're also Korean. My dad had to replace all the windows with plexi-glass and more... I've noticed that A HUGE PERCENTAGE of these guys are huge pussies. They are scared out of their minds when caught doing things such as shoplifting...etc. Call the cops and have them do increased patrols around your area. They can do that for you I think if you request it. Good luck with the situation...

if it's ok to shoot them, i highly recommend a 12 gauge shotgun. you can pick up a used mossberg for like $150 at a pawnshop or gunshow. buy some bean bag loads if you don't want to kill them, or rock salt loads.
