Default I love my IS!

I know this is a lame topic, but I just wanted to post how much I love my car. I get compliments from everyone I know, and as much as I find myself surfing M3 forums and dreaming about my next car, at the end of the day I couldn't be happier with my choice. Sure, there are a few little cracking noises and maybe even a squeak, but compared to the major engine/electrical problems that the competition is plagued with, this car has been perfect and lived up to the reputation. I can't even complain about the 6MT - it has taken some time to get used to, and I am still excited about getting some F sport mods to make it better, but as it stands, I think we all are lucky to have such a well-rounded automobile. Thanks for reading, and I hope this encourages anyone on the fence to consider an IS and I look forward to hearing other positive thoughts from owners. Sorry this is a little long - I was just feeling extra happy today.

Thanks for reading!

I had a flat tire the other day and haven't quite found the time to fix it yet. I refuse to drive for extended periods of time on the donut spare so I'm having to run in my bro's honda civic lately and I'm already getting withdrawal jitters from not being able to drive my IS 350

Love is a good thing, lol.

And those X-pkg wheels are my OEM favorites too.

I think the front lip was on the '09 and newer...or possibly only on US-spec...I had to add the sport pedals myself...

As for a dream mod list, I'd like to lower a touch (f-sport springs?), get the quick **** kit, and get a new shift ****. I'd also like to do some CF fabric on the interior, but these things are all gonna have to wait a bit. Thank God I put my snow tires on - even an inch is too much for the summer tires.

X-package was sandwiched between the leather/moonroof package and the sports package. You get the sport suspension, unique 18" rims, the adaptive headlights and illuminated door sills. The sport adds cooled seats, power steering wheel and it's own set of 18" rims. Drive-wise they should be the same...X-package is just not quite fully-loaded. Did I miss anything?
