Cool. I need to find a way to remove the dome right to remove the antenna in order to vinyl my roof again.

is it possible to remove the light first then remove the whole piece??

When you were referring to trying to taking it off with a TINY screwdriver, were u talking about the middle lens or the whole piece?

hey. You are trying to get to the antenna nut right? You need to remove the entire rear dome assembly.

Fit your hands in between the assembly and the headliner at each end and pull. They are held in my plastic screw type clips. They are very forgiving. Goodluck!

Remove the whole thing. The 2 plastic clips hold it on good so it will take some force. Don't be afraid to really pull down on it.

I just took mine off. Dont do it in the middle that just makes it harder (simple physics). The 2 clips are at the left and right corners of the assembly toward the rear window. Push the roof up and it will make a gap between the dome light and the roof and you should be able to squeeze your fingers in there. Get a wide enough grip so that you dont break the corner off. Once youve got a firm and wide grip of the corner pull down HARD and the entire thing should pop out. Again at either the left or right corner, i did mine at the left corner.

Once you have it off there is no bolt to be seen. Its underneath the roof toward the rear window just pull down on the roof a little bit and you will see it, its about 2 inches in from the opening. The bolt has a green plastic thing clamped on it and a couple wires of the antenna. Un-clamp the wires that are attached to eachother. The plastic thing comes off and the bolt is free to be removed easily with a set of pliers or something. I dont really know how to take the plastic thing off, i accidently broke mine trying to take it off since there isnt much room to work, all you can get in there are a couple fingers. But breaking it makes no difference at all so if you dont care u can just break it off.
