New Owner- 2010 IS250 StarFire Pearl
Finally part of the IS club. After lots of haggling probably saved about $4,000 from MSRP. This car is such a solidly built car and just love the way it drives. Bought with the following options. 18" Alloy Wheels, HID, NAV, Premium Package, Rear Lip Spoiler, and Preferred Accessory Package.
This will be the new daily driver for me and the wife and still keeping my Z.
Few questions I have is the dealer said the first oil change is free at 5,000 miles. Do I need to change the oil on this car before the 5,000 miles?
Also as far as the Iphone goes is it possible to play Internet Radio through the speaker system or can you only play Mp3 files from your Iphone?

Hey, thats my car! LOL, good choice, nice color. You dont need to change the oil until 5k service but there is also a complimentary 1000 mile service (they dont change the oil) that i guess they give the car a look over and make sure everything is in order. Enjoy your new purchase!

Welcome to CL, Starfire Pearl is the best color
One bit advise, when you take your car in for service, tell the service rep 'no wash', print out on your puter in LARGE FONT 'NO WASH' and tape it to your dash also, unless you want FREE swirls on your paint from the dealership

congrats on the new ride! its ideal to have the oil change at around 5000 miles. i think it means more to the dealership. that way you're building a rapport with the service techs there- in the event you need help later on. but after the first change, you should be able to go to a third party or even DIY. i wouldnt suggest getting the oil change any sooner than 3500 miles. the car needs to be broken in and that would be around the right time frame for an oil change, depending on how often you drive as well as your driving methods (city/hwy/mixed).
