Default rpm idle point...normal or too high?

I wanted to post these two pics and see if the position of the rpm needle is normal for an 07 awd IS250.

note this is only when it's cold outside(Chicago) the rpm position hangs around a 1000 until the car is fully warmed up then it goes to the normal position of 750.

This is my first Lexus and compared to other cars I've owned this car takes forever to warm up. just wanted to see if it's normal or should I get it checked out my the dealer.

Thanks!

Looks about right. Mine is the same way when cold outside (40 or less outside). Does seem to take awhile to warm up too. I'm thinking the thermostat is set more for mpg than performance.
