Hi guys!!
Just got back from dealership and was looking to buy 2010 IS350 with Nav. Msrp: $43,xxx and the best they offered was $40,440. Should I accept or do you think I can find better deal? Red with black int. I got preapproved for 3.9% for 60 months.... Please help!! I am located in Houston.

keep looking. even though its a new model year, 40k is awfully expensive for a ride even though it comes with the navi. id suggest to negotiate. they might not budge too much on the 10's, but if they really want business, they'll at least meet you somewhere in between say 37-40k. and consider the total amount will include tax and license fees, so that 40k they offered will be near 43k already. keep looking or try to negotiate. best of luck man!

Comes with 18" wheels
high intensity light
rear lip spoiler
navigation
premium plus package
convenenience pack
msrp: $43,255

another dealership says the best they can do is $39,900. The General Mgr gave me that price. I would be happy if I can get it for $38,500+ttl.... Is this possible??? It's end of year... I know they want to sell these cars, don't they?

I'm going to disagree with everyone else... $39,900 is a good price including the options you listed. That car goes for a grand more in Los Angeles (and you can usually get a better deal here). If you can get that dealer to shave off the $900 and add tax, title and license - it's a good deal.

Every option on a vehicle has a defined cost on top of the base price.

Good luck

yep. $40,000 +TTLD is good. When I was looking at 09's last year, thats the best I got in Phoenix. Now in Chicago, there is no way they would even budge on 42K+ TTLD.

Wow, get them to eat that $900 someway or the other and take the car. Even though I wouldve bought it as soon as I was offered 40k, but then again I am an impatient idiot.

depending where you are at, 800-1,000 over invoice would be a good price on the is350.

seriously 39K to 40K out of the door is really good price. I purchased my 350 last year for 39K sports package no Navi and it was a good enough price for me.

That's a good price - try to negotiate a free tint or something intangible like that. It saves you more than it costs the dealer, so they might be willing.

I think the question as to whether he was offed a good price has been answered. No matter what part of the country you're in - $39,900 is a very good price based on the options the car has.

Everyone who said, "keep looking" seems to have based the opinion on osmosis.

4 minutes of research will confirm that it's a good deal.

39,900 + ttl so out the door would've been around 43k. Thank you guys for all your input and help. I did not buy that car and visited another dealership, one closest to home and ended up with 2010 IS250 instead I'm a mommy of a toddler and figure what am I going to do with the extra 100 hp? I took home a gorgeous obsidian/ecru interior with navigation. The most expensive package of the 3 offered They asked for 41,500 OTD... I purchased it for $38,250 OTD!! I think that was pretty good and most importantly I am soooooo happy!!
