Well I was also waiting the get the service campagn letter and have everything done at once but now I'm wondering if I should have it done or not. Does anybody know if having the brake override thing (or whatever that's called) done means we won't be able to do burnouts?? Or will disabling traction control also disable the brake override?

Default Valet Switch keeps resetting

I have the same exact problem and it's annoying as crap! I push the button in...then check it a few days later after I know I haven't accessed the glove box for any reason and it's back out again. I called the dealer and they made it sound like something was hitting the button when I closed it etc. Well I opened and shut it several time and banged near the glove box and it stayed set in. But low and behold a few days later I check it and it's popped out again. I really don't get it. It's bad enough that I have to abuse it by driving in MN winters...the valet button is just something else to annoy me during winter!!!

I have the same problem. It only pops back out when it's really cold though; like 20 or colder. I just push it again and open my trunk no problem. Doesn't bother me really. Do you drive an AWD? And what year?
