Default Happy new year..syke. Dent in my New 09 Hood

So I was at the gas station and I was walking to my car and realized something looked weird on the driverside body line of my hood. On the hood, that ridge on the drivers side, yeah theres a golf size dent that breaks that line and has impressions on both sides.

Can a dent in this location even be fixed? I've had dents popped from past cars before that have been door dings and even baseballs out of the hood on my parents cars. but this is right on that line. I've only had the car since September and it barely has 3000 miles on it.

It had to of been when I parked in downtown and i bet someone threw a bottle at it or something stupid. People are so disrespectful.

What are my options? Anyone have any insight. I'll post a picture in a second.

Time for a new CF hood

Just kidding, sorry to hear and see it. The dent is very obvious even with this low res pic.

Can the dent wizard even take that out? like i feel like since its on that main line its going to be almost impossible. No paint seems to be chipped. I'm so upset right now.

I really can't tell by the looks of your picture, but it wouldn't hurt to try a dent removal place before you contact a body shop. Sorry about your luck.

i agree with little E, can't see the dent. i would post the star trek picture saying "can't see *****, captain" but don't think profanity is allowed.

better pictures?

Someone backed into my 07 in a parking lot, it dented in the creased area above the back tire but didn't chip the paint. One of those paintless dent repair places was able to remove my dent on the crease. BTW it cost about $150.00

The reflection is throwing off seeing the actual dent. I'll wait til i get back to florida in the next couple of days to get a picture. im hoping warmer weather and the dent wizard will be able to pop it out nicely. you can kind of see the ripple in the middle of the picture. its right on that body line of the hood.

got the dent taken out fortunately from dent wizard. didnt come out perfect but as close as its going to get. cant tell unless you knew where it happened at and stare at it in a lit garage or at night under lights.

for future reference if anyone searches for this, the hoods aluminum [fixing dents are similar to crushing a soda can and trying to fix it, and the hood is double paneled. try not to get a dent on the body line of the hood...because its almost impossible to come out perfectly.
