i would think the IS handles better... so depending on if he can drive his car or not.... and if you can drive yours real good then MAYBE... i say under certain circumstances its posible

+1 Yes nothing to add that hasn't been said, but I see your in MA so if you really get pushed into a race I suggest (as above) you take him to the track any day there is 3 to 5 inches of fresh unplowed snow on the track

Owned an 00 Honda Accord and 04 Acura TL before, both are nice cars, but I have to agree that RWD is much more fun to drive. Besides, I do not buy a car for race on the road (even with 350), I would never do that to risk my own and possibly others' life on the road.

There will always be people like that. I have an uncle who always tried to 1up, but sort of failtastically. My family and my other aunt's family got the same TV from sony. He got a huge no name brand tv, which broke within a year. Our tvs have lasted 10+ years and are still going strong. We get cable tv and he tries to get satellite thinking it's better, only gets a few good channels. I got my Lexus IS250, and he starts talking down on it, that cars are a waste of money. My mom gets an RX350 and he continues saying that cars are bad investments. He gets a Prius and talks big about it and how it is so much better, and our cars are a waste of money. Toyota vs Lexus, Civil War!?!?

You car is also rear wheel drive, his is FWD - RWD gives a much better driving experience.

You also have a better suspension setup compared to the struts used in the accord.

On a track, you would probably be faster, but not in a drag race.

Ain't it the truth, that's partially (actually LARGELY) why I've accumulated 15k in less than 6 months. Whenever I'm out friday nights (college campus) with my lady friends they all want to ride in my car only. Hell, they all want to drive my car too.
