I have a so-called friend who was always jealous and he always wants to be above everything when it comes to things. I bought my 2006 Lexus IS250 AWD then the following month he bought a 2006 Honda Accord 3.0 EX Auto.

Now since he bought that car he's always challenging me for a race to see who's better, fastest, and as per my friend - who's going to be "cooler". I constantly decline because 1st of all I don't want to drag race on the streets that is just pure dumbness and we might get a ticket or get into a accident, 2nd reason is clearly his Accord has a 244-hp, 3.0-liter V-6 and our IS250 only have a 204-hp, 2.5-liter V-6 Engine.

If ever we get a chance to race I will ask him to go to a Raceway Park/Track so our race will be a precise one.

So IS250 204hp VS Accord 244hp -???- What could be the result?

Does our IS250 ever have a chance against a V6 Honda Accord?

In addition, he's whining about how our IS250 have a really small interior, well yeah of course if you compare our interior to an accord it's no match. He's really just going out of his way just to bring me down. LOL I guess that's his life.

If there's no chance on winning against a Accord - it is what it is.

Nothing wrong with the Honda. I've had my 03 V6 Accord since late 2002. Always been dependable and performed well.

But yah, Honda is not a Lexus... different class. It's comparing apples to oranges. Performance wise.. yeh, even my 03 will smoke the 250.

Accord 0-60 6.9 sec (auto) IS250 0-60 7.9 sec.

The Accord is a full second faster to 60.

Lexus is a much nicer vehicle.

I'd rather have a Lexus over a Honda ANY DAY OF THE WEEK, it's not always about speed. That's what I would tell him.
